Nest
An app designed to increase
roommate organization and communication
Nest is an app created for roommates that aims to eliminate conflict and keep the household organized. In the app, you can create tasks, grocery lists, manage expenses and share calendars.
I created this app for a Junior-level design class at Oregon State University. We worked in groups to create the concept and idea for the app with research, flowcharts and wireframes. I designed the interface of nest with the goal of keeping it simple, fun and quick for the user.

tasks
The tasks tab is a simple way to keep track of individual
responsibilities.
calendar
Roommates can approve events or gatherings taking place in shared spaces.
pantry
The pantry tab acts as a digital grocery list for roommates. This solves the issue of leaving lists on the kitchen counter.
pay
In the pay tab, roommates can keep track of shared expenses. Apps like Venmo and Apple Pay can be linked to make payment easier.
